DON H MILLER
From statistically analyzing real world problems to creating heartfelt stories, Don H. Miller has lived a life as varied as the characters in his books. Born and raised in Iowa, Don started his journey with a degree in Mathematics and served three years as a U.S. Navy officer. His hunger for knowledge led him to earn a Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Chicago, eventually becoming a college professor and a dedicated research scientist.
For decades, Don’s world was filled with analyzing data related to naval operations, environmental impacts, and digital communications technology. However, retirement opened a new door: the world of fiction. Since putting down his research papers, he has remarkably published twenty-five books in the genre of Jane Austen fan fiction.
Today, when he isn’t busy writing about the mysteries of the soul, you can find him taking long walks, playing pickleball, and acting as Art Director of the monthly newsletter of the community in which he lives. Don brings a scientist’s curiosity and a storyteller’s heart to every page he writes.
